Briefly...

So normally I don't post because I don't feel that there is anything in my life that other people would care to hear about. But lately, I 've been too busy to post! I just wanted to make a brief note on the fact that my husband has no more than 190 days left in Baghdad. Whats even better, is that he may actually have less than 150 days!! Woo Hoo!! I am so excited, I just can't even describe it! Also, we have R&R coming up soon, most likely mid-October. I will post more later, gotta run for now.

Welcome little Ayden

Well, he is finally here. My nephew, Ayden Joshua; born July 17th; 7lbs 9 oz; 21 inches long.

An Intro, I guess.

So I have decided to give blogging a try. I am not sure exactly how much of what I have to say will actually be of interest to anybody; nor am I even sure that I will have much to say at all. But I will give it a shot, and see what happens.
So a little about us:
I am a 28 year old armywife. I am currently unemployed, and going to school. My husband is 25, and (obviously) in the army. We are currently surviving a 15 month deployment, and its hard, but we're almost halfway done. We are both from a small town in Pennsylvania, and we've been married for 1 year and 5 months, but in love for as long as I can remember. We don't have any children yet, but plan on changing that as soon as he gets home from Iraq. For now though, we have our 4-legged "children"; 1 dog, a black lab-rottie mix named MaryJane, and 2 cats, Frank and Joey.
